they just backed up their 9.86 / 140 with a 9.96 / 140...apparently they have a bad 60' the second pass. 
pretty impressive on an engine that is currently detuned ...skunk engine builders say that everything is still on the small&safe side, and that there should be another 30-40hp as they start to get more aggressive with the engine parts specs
can't wait to see how they finish their evening

i like skunk2.they've always been my fav all motor car, but don't try and play off 9's by saying the motor is detuned.we all know a lot of time and effort went into that motor.geez

and also is that k series motor THAT much crazier? what's in it? pistons that wear off an alum layer exposing air pockets filled with nitrous?? damn......hahaha

nobody's down playing 9's....but i know the motor is de-tuned compared to what is still ahead.
i know this because i have seen the new header, head, cams, and intake...trust me on this one

i will try my best...
i do know that the complete valvetrain: cams, valves, valvesprings, retainers, and camgears are pre-production street parts that will eventually be offered to the public
i also know that they are going to change to larger throttle bodies and header, and that they will probably be for sale.

Great!!! The potential of that motor is finally starting to be realized.
Don't expect Bisi to stay in your rearview mirror for long though guys. He has pulled 9's in testing as well, so his official 9 second pass can't be far off.

im not trying to start nothing but hear me out i give Jesus Padilla more props
becouse hes stock chassie and runs 9.9 the dont get me worng the rsx is fast but there fulltube just my way seeing it

I JUST HEARD THAT THE CAR RAN 9.92 @140 ON ITS 3RD PASS. APPARENTLY IT SPRINKLED AND THE TRACK WAS STILL A BIT WET JUST PAST THE 60' MARK, AND THE CAR SIDE STEPPED WHEN CHARLES SHIFTED INTO 2ND
