Default Porsche Turbo update..

A lot of people have been asking about the Porsche we have been working on..
Got the parts back from PolyDyn and did a test fit before installing everything back on the car.

We are still waiting on intercoolers and we are almost finished with the intake manifold. Im also still trying to talk the owner into Wiggins clamps.

Looks like a very similar manifold to one I saw at our local tuners shop. This is not a good shot, but I'm guessing similar set up. Sorry for the big pic.

Vid is the last one in that group.

The headers on that porsche are quite different, the turbo orientation is opposite, teh WG placement different. However I wish we could run a straight shot like that on the IC piping, thats awesome.

this system is going on a 3.6l 993 NA motor.

What is the coating on the manifolds? It looks almost just like heat cycled stainless, but is too uniform in color?

It looks like black ceramic coating. Is that 44mm wg?

Thanks everyone.

The coatings are PolyDyn. The wastegate is the 44mm TiAl.

Tony, Dont worry about the harness.. The car looks better sitting still than running down the street shooting fireballs.

Polydyn's coatings are the ****. I had them coat my pistons (tops with heat barrior and sides with a slippery moly coat), and they look great.

We are expecting 380-450whp with under 9psi on the stock 11.3:1 engine.

I love the wastegate/Vband turbine inlet section! MUCH easier to remove the turbo, not to mention not having to deal with stripped bolts and such!
