Hehe, actually 3 seperate vehicles

1st - Chevy Trailblazer 4200 I-6 (Did the job, but I wouldn't recommend it)

2nd - Chevy Trailblazer 5300 V-8 (Much better, but would still recommend a truck)

3rd/Present - Chevy Silverado 2500HD Duramax Diesel (Enough said )

Damn, what a nice deal, and exactly what I want. Black doesn't **** off neighbors as much because it looks cooler. If I had a truck I'd be all over this one.

Comparable to the 1 ton turbo diesel I'd imagine?

I may be in touch, as it sounds like a good deal, but I need to review some things and discuss with the person I'd be splitting it with.. I take it you sold the R separately?

Ahem, sorry for ignoring this question

I *think* they're both the same 6.6L motor, but the 2004+ have 60 more ft-lbs of torque. (530 vs 590)

FYI, it will still hold a Miata, even with a blown motor, LOL

Thanks for the bump

Ditto, except for the miata and blown motor comments. I guess I could have just said I'd be all over this if it was next spring and the racing budget hadn't already gone to hell. Jason, do you have a link to pics so I can daydream?

question.........

how does having a black trailer instead of a white one effect the temperature inside said trailer?

if this thing is still available next spring i'd seriously consider it, if it doesn't get hot.

kansas + black trailer + sleep in trailer = ?

also....on your 5300 trailblazer that you used to tow this thing, i assume that is the same small block that i have in my 01 silverado with a 5.3L? if it is, was it the pulling power that was lacking, or the directional stability and braking of an SUV vs a truck that was unacceptable?

lunchtime nap? you better believe it. and if i have to use the workbench for anything inside the trailer, i don't want it to be 120 degrees inside and 100 outside.

As for trailer color: I've loitered inside many trailers over the years and I found that white trailers are indeed cooler inside than black trailers on a sunny day, but it's not a huge difference. If the black trailer is insulated, the additional heat is less noticeable and would not keep me from buying a black one. I've been told by more than a few guys that black trailers are very difficult to keep clean.

while i obviously can't afford it (as evident by my credit card bill this month), i was looking online at some nice Pace American Shadow trailers the other day. among their listed features was some type of surface that they claimed dust wouldn't stick to. or something along those lines. anybody else have any information on this?

<---the more i look at enclosed trailers, the more i want one. if i do get an enclosed trailer, i'll just need a big diesel to pull it with. at this rate, i never have any hope of buying a house.
