OK poeple i know for a fact that since this oh so wonderful welding sub-forum was created that probably the most looked for topic will be for a JDM ITR front end conversion. Since this forum is relatively new, compared to say...the EG6 forum, i would really really really like for a moderator to start the most looked for sticky thread. Or at least sticky the front end converison one. I did a few searches on here but they dont have a step by step process with pics. WE need pics! Here is one i found searching around.

all you have to do is drill out a few spot welds, and remove the top half of the support, then either bolt, or weld the jdm top half in it's place its really pretty easy. I did it myself in like an hour, and everything lined up perfect first try.
i went so much further than that. I cut out all the spot welds and took the whole front off. a lot more work involved this way but in the long run will look factory.

That link you gave seem like plenty of info to me, exactly what you need to get the job done.

Can you weld? hehe just kidding ... sure a good plug weld or welding along the seams will be anywhere from just as strong to a lot stronger than the factory spot welds. Just depends on how far you're willing to go to hide everything and make it look like you didn't weld it on IMO.

anybody man or body shop should be able to do it. its basically a simple front radiator support change. like if you got in a wreck theyd have to change it if the radiator support was bent anyway. its not hard. its made to beable to change.
I crashed so i had to change the whole rad support anyway. But my welds are plenty strong. I have done frame rails on full race mustangs and nothing has fallen apart.
