Hey any so cal ppl look out for my crap...i was at a mall tonight and when i came out to my car security was waiting by my car...i knew something happened...The shattered my driver window and took my tach, pioneer headunit (plus they cracked the actual unit trying to get it out...)plus lots of cds... then worst of all... those dudes tried to jack the car wit a screwdriver and f'ed p the ignition so my key wont even fit in it...so please...be on the look out and keep me posted if u here anything...thanks guys...screw theives...why cant they just buy their own stuff

cops said it happened all the time...plus the security said they saw the dudes get in the car..and they didnt do ****..i was like WTF are they there for then...its like i bet the security took it...it makes me think...whats the point of putting money into your car cuz some lame *** is gonna take it... to mall security

thanks civicboyzc...just giving the heads up to watch out all civic owners...the cops said la county is horrible with this stuff...happens all the time and hardly anyone is caught...kinda sucks that this happens...just a question tho...what can an alarm really do? will the noise even scare them?

u got lucky man, think of gettin a kill switch or even an alaram

 

Yeah man your lucky that they did not take the whole car.

Most security guards are like Cameras, all they do is keep an eye out. If they see something they look away so they don't get their *** beat by the crooks. It's sad but true.

I got an old Panasonic CD radio if your interested, the Radio works fine just old. The CD player acts up from time to time but hey it's free if you want it just pay for shipping.

 

alarms are only good when your near the car.

they won't save your car. when it goes off you come out that prevents them from jacking your car.

they will at least damage your car try to do something. autolock etc will help your car alarm will go off.. just serveral security measure. living in apartment I have all the sensors running they cant enter the car without tripping the alarm. then I have nothing in the car to jack. they cant steal it unless I leave it open with no security. Invest in a paging system alarm if you live in apartment. contact me if you need a very good system
