Default 2005 RSX Brochure Pictures.

http://forums.clubrsx.com/show...pp=25

Here are the pictures.
A member on clubrsx asked to take a look at the sample brochure at the dealer, and when the salesman turned his back, the kid booked with the brochure.
Sorry for this shitty pics, they are better than nothing.

Just wanted to share the wealth.

Honda is not stupid. They changed the springs out of the early 02's to handle the higher rev's. Hondata obviously sets its #4 flahs with a redline of 8600rpm. Honda sees that too. Why not market a higher redline and bring in more customers.

HERE are the specs:
2.0 liters
210hp@7800
143torque@7000
redline 8100
compression ratio 11.0
stabilizer bars(front/back) 26.5mm/21mm
17/7 aluminum-alloy

Gear Ratio:
1st:3.27
2nd:2.13
3rd:1.52
4th:1.15
5th:0.92
6th:0.74
Final Drive: 4.77 wow...

weight 2840lbs

it says "the types engine benefits from a new camshaft, plus intake and exhaust improvements that help increase power output to 210 horses." it also has dual-stage intake manifold. sadly, no engine pictures

They added the jdm itr final drive to the type s. Thats cool as hell. the car also weighs more now! The muffler looks very similar to the itr as well. I think they changed the exhaust to gain the 10hp, but i guess we will really have to see pics to find out. Any engine shots in that brochure?

I am not a big fan of the front. Looks to much like a RX-8.

From those pics, I like the look of my O3 better. I am happy that it got bigger rims, becuase they'll probably be available used in no time for a decent price.

They made some pretty substantial changes to the RSX. Usually they only change the aesthetics within a generation, but looks like they tweaked a little bit of everything: exterior, interior, motor, and drivetrain. I wonder what they're going to do to the baseline? I like everything they did on the redesign. It looks much better now IMO.

ya they did change the seats. the headrests are about twice as thick with much more cushion on the front (actual headrest) side. They look better, hope they actually are.
