Well, here is the long awaited photos of a Datsun 510 that has been in the works since last fall. This car was built entirely by my brother Bi in his garage. He did the engine install, custom wiring, fabrication of engine mounts & tranny crossmember and mount, body work and everything in between. It is a 69' Datsun 2 door 510 with a Honda s2000 motor and transmission. It has a Subaru rear end with an LSD, Tokico shocks on custom Ground Control sleeves and 280z disc brake conversion.

The exhaust was routed to the side because of clearance issues. It looks like the old hot-rods and their 'lake style' pipes.


This is her back from the paint booth with a fresh coat of paint in what color but Championship White.


I hope you people like it cause it's the only one of its kind in existence.

I think the 510 would fold in half from all that torque. The engine fells so right in this car. It's so light that the little torque that the fc has is more than enough to light the wheels from 1st through 3rd.

No mods to the firewall were done. The engine fits so nicely in there that you would think it was meant for it. It even fits better than the more commonly swapped sr20det.
