My car starting idling really high and then my check engine light came on so i jumped the port and figured out it was my tps (throttle postion sensor). When i checked the tps i found that the star head screws and come out and the tps had fallen off. So i put the tps back in place and reset my ecu but yet when i started my car the check engine light came back on and the car continued to idle at 2200-3000 rpm. What could it be?

 

your gonna have to recalibrate it again using a voltmeter. search for tps. im sure there are many with your problem. i just fixed mine yesterday.
