same thing happened to me
i was going 140+ for like couple minutes and i slowed down just to get on different route and cop pulled me over. he was like what's the matter? why are you going so fast?? and i told him that he pulled wrong car over and the guy he was looking for flew by me. just as you said he couldn't prove i was speeding so he just walked away sucker!

I understand your concern, but the only person I was putting in danger was myself. Now I know that it would suck to loose a friend from something stupid like this, but you've got to live dangerously evey once in a while just to let you know you are alive.
I think I have more of a chance of dying driving on I95 every day to work, then hauling *** on an empty hiway

How does your car not go that fast yet? my gsr hit 149mph on a top speed run i did on the way back from chicago.
your right live and learn. everyone gets curious to see what there car will top out at.. my gsr w/ i/h/c/e hit 149 and wouldn't push any farther.

i have an EK hatch, still has the single cam , my governor hits a like 123 or something. The motor is pretty much stock and I can hit the governer in 4th.
Who know what I will be able to do after my swap? I'll find out someday

NO, I was agreeing with you lol. I went through that phase, basically driving my car as fast as it could go, everytime I drove it. In traffic, back roads, open highway, whatever. I was a dick and Ill be the first to admit it. Im sure people hated me on the highway. Then I guess I wised up. I started to think of the consequences, and the possibilities. When my motor blew up recently, if I had been at high speed, I would have no doubt crashed. I was only in second gear when the motor went, and as soon as I touched the brakes, the car got loose from all the oil. I couldnt imagine that happening at redline in 4th or 5th :shivers: You just never know when your tire is gonna blow, or the motor let go, etc. Luckily for me I never lost it and I wised up before it ever happening. I still speed, but nothing as dangerous as I used to. Be careful out there.

i didn't think spedo's were off by that much, weird.
When i took the picture of 145mph, i looked at the revs and i was only near 7900rpm.
I've ripped the 155mph at redline too. You think the aerodynamics have **** to do with it? I got a JDM front.

?? Its odd, the RPM and speed is diff for most cars , i never figured out why.
