GSR 1/4 mile times
my gsr isnt running the times i thought it wood its in the mid 15's about 15.46 it ran. isnt that a little high for a stock gsr i thought the usually run low low 15's i know i saw a lot at the dragway doin those times but the people had mods done to it. can anyone tell me the GSR's stock times????
first you need to search before you make a thread about this. this exact topic has been covered numerous times in the last couple of months.
a stock gs-r could be anywhere from really low 15's to really high 15's. there are a lot of factors to take into consideration... altitude... temperature... etc.
plus you only gave us your et. to really analize your time, we would also need your trap speed, 60 ft., tire pressure, etc. etc.

one question is r/t added on to the final time or is it just another stat

no r/t is independent of the ET. you could sit there forever after the light went green. the timer starts when you move. the r/t is how long you sat there after the light went green.
it is best to get the r/t down if you do bracket racing and such.

you are right for the most part but et doesnt start when you move. it starts when you are no longer in line with the beam. some people like to just barely break the beam when staging which will kinda give you a little head start. quicker et but slower r/t
