I just installed my new traction bars. I looked everywhere for some at a bargin. Below are pics of them and a link where to find them. They were only $159.00 on ebay. I will update this post Fri. and let you know how much they helped on 60 fts.

It is an individual or a small company making them.


No wheel hop with street tires on the road.........I will not see how they act at the track with my MT's until Thursday and Friday.

 

does it hang low? because from the picture it looks hella low.

No. It is made for lowered cars. Here is a pic from the front.

can you take another pic underneath the car but from the front. like enough to show where it mounts to the lca and enough to show the crossmember part also.

 

do they make one for crx88/91?

They make them for a 88-91 civic, so I would think it would work in a CRX!

 

hmm sheyat i was trying to check the geometry can you jack up the car and take the pic from underneath but from teh middle of the car kinda.

I just got back from the track!!! It was so damn humid!! The traction bars did an awesome job.1.78 60 ft. and 8.52 @ 80.5mph!! My best 60 ft before the traction bars was 1.86!!!!!!!!

 

Damn sounds like a deal. Anyone know if they would work with a 92 Honda Civic Batchback w/H22?

They do not take up alot of room, you will be fine!!!!

 

The LS was haulin butt last night!! Props to the dohcter. Gotta get myself some of those traction bars and work on my launches!!!

 

On CRX/EF will this eliminate the frotn crossmember or just add to the mess?

 

is this with or without slicks? and what is your setup?

 

Looks very much like the Competition Engineering bars... I put a set of those on our project Civic over the weekend. Getting the pressed-in studs out of the lower control arms was fun.

Anyway, that's a story for Issue #3.
