i had a buyer fly in from AZ this past holiday weekend but decided against it cause his mommy and daddy said he'll get hurt in it. i swear i thought this car was sold...its everything and then some. He was purchasing for 20k including the tow dolly which is a 2001 loadstar. i'm including everything i have including never used drag rotor and calipers(proto type stuff) and even a color matched racing helmet. i'm willing to come down a 1000 on the price and even further if there are parts the buyer doesn't need that i can sell to recoupe
if your talking about the TWM 50mm Individual Throttle bodies.....then http://www.twminduction.com specifically http://www.twminduction.com/Throttle...eBody2000.html
list price of $2350.85

)
2 reasons only. one is i'm building a race car and have the chassis already. the sale will help fund it. second is....some of the money will go to my sons college education(he's only 19months old though..lol). Car is ready to go...simple as that.
i raced it at 5 events this year. 1. made it to the semi finals in the IDRC ALLMOTOR PRO class event at etown its first event. 2. I won the hybrid Super4 class at budds creek MD. 3. I won the Super4 class at Maple grove PA. 4. I won the Comp4 class at Englishtown NJ. 5. I made it to the semi finals in the IDRC ALLMOTOR PRO class event at Maple grove.
I'm basically building a road race car that will also exhibition drag race. So...its just a different platform and it makes no sense to take this complete car apart for another project.

that's a very, very, very nice car. i would be in tears to let that car go with all the time, effort and money put into it.
questions: how is the idle and is it hard to drive the car with individual throttle bodies?

it wasnt his oil or nothing to do with the motor, it was a (stock b16a) tranny that he broke into pieces ... it was gearoil all over. It has since been replaced ...

understandable concern. this is what happened that day....a rough one for me but everything was and is fine now.
I put in a new fuel pump(found out i needed more fuel on my top end). car sputtered at the wrong psi so...i forget if it was a high 12 or low low 13 run and also my coil wire was half off...must have not snapped it in place....i also took it pretty easy on the launch. anyway...the tranny.....
i went to launch the car after a fantastic feel at the burnout box against a friggin prostock mopar with parachute and all while using an open diff Si tranny. at this point i was awaiting on the tranny thats in the car now...anyway.... the car broke something at the line and i was possitive it was an axle. towed her to the pits... we thought it was the passenger axle so we replaced it. I put the car in reverse and it shut off. did the same thing like 3 times. I'm like...i can't be out of fuel...but i must be. Put in more fuel. same thing...it shut down. so...i put it in first gear...and BAM it blew the spider gear right through the case. the spider gear was what had broke at the line and the culprit all along. an open diff si tranny just won't hold a launch with the size slicks i use at the track. I was netting 1.71-1.73 60 foot times with an open diff Si tranny. anyway..that oil as greg said was tranny oil. I put the car on the tow dolley and took her home. its no longer open diff thank god and she runs great once again.
