14? How many OTHER ACURAS do you own as stated in your other thread? ****** rich kids. Does it have that soleniod? It could be an LSVTEC, but I doubt it.
wow. i think u should really come back to H-T when you can actually drive the car. Why worry about a car when you can't even drive it yet. But yes your correct. How did he get a b18b in the car if it's not swap? or is it?. cause i alwayz thought that b18b were jdm. and b18a were usdm. Should he have the b18a?

Dude, what the **** is this bullshit? For the people who care that hes 14, get a life. I wish I had started this when I was 14, then I would actually know more about it.
Last time I knew you didn't have to be any age to work on your car. And hell hes getting an early start, he might have this thing built by the time hes 16, or at least have the knowledge to. And he presents himself on here better then half the older people. As jdmjerk said at least he can spell Vtec and can find the engine code.

to 14 year olds working on cars. I was 11 when I helped my dad change the differential on a '71 Chevelle. I still don't like the smell of gear oil.
I still can't believe people actually care about his age. I bet he more mature then most people here. 96tegWhip, you are correct that you only have a DOHC. You can always add a Vtec head and have a pretty decent engine. Keep up the work.
A lot of heavy farming activity states (KS, for example) allow kids to get a license at 14 or 15. That's fine if they need to do chores after school, but in many of those places it ends up that the spoiled rich kids just end up wrapping their cars around trees and telephone poles one or two years sooner. Darwin in action, unfortunately.

Ive always had a high interest in all cars/trucks/airplanes when I was very young. I replaced my first rear-end to a Volvo when I was 10 with my dad, and I was knockn' lugs off of it with an impact wrench like a nacar pit crew guy the year after, haha. Its great to know younger guys are starting earlier, I say

who cares? I had my first car when i was 13, i couldnt drive it but i spent all of my free time learning about it and working on it, every xmas and birthday after that i got parts and money to put into it, by the time i was 18 i had a high 13 second low 14 second street car and was working on building a motor to put it well into the low 12's high 11's. Think about how long it has taken you to get your car to where it is and then think about how much faster it would have gotten that way if you had started when you were his age. We should welcome the younger ones and teach them and steer them away from the fast and the furious style of modifying cars, not bash on them and run them off. Just my .02

I always said that when I have a kid, I was going to buy him or her a car when they are 13 or 14 to build and take time to learn how things work. I believe this will teach the the meaning of money and teach them to be responsible. I encourage all young people to start as soon as they can.
Second, why does it matter that he can't drive? I always thought this site was for learning and sharing the experiences you have with other car people. It is supposed to be a friendly place people can come for HELP. Not being told "Come back when you can drive." It's also funny the same people that flame this kid are dead wrong on there info.
