i can't tell you how many hp you'll pick up. very good midrange gains with these cams, and decent top end. search the all motor forum.
yes they fit a 1993 gsr head. no you don't need to change the springs or retainers. it's not necessary because lift is what kills your valvetrain. these cams don't have too much more lift, but a lot more duration.
skunk2 recommends you upgrade the valvetrain for obvious reasons, but many many people with the stage 1s don't. it's not recommended to rev past 8400. with stage 2s yes, you need new springs and retainers.
