Default size of b20 valve grooves?

I know gsr pistons have 33mm wide valve grooves and ls pistons have 31mm wide valve grooves. that prevented me from running any cam higher in lift than a type r. well b20z have around 10.5 in compression plus the higher compression from a gsr head so i think the b20z will have the compression to run skunk stage1's definetly and skunk stage2's maybe but my question is will the gsr (33mm wide) valves fit in the grooves of the b20z???? what size are they?

The b20z has 9.6:1 CR, where did you hear 10.5?

Nice, here are the ones I did.

What I did seemed to have worked fine since the motor made close to 210whp.

MassScene, I think that both intake and exhaust valves have a larger face circumference.

it will work if you cut the valve releifs like that (only the intake valves are bigger btw) but your gonna throw the piston weights way off when you do it. basically your gonna throw off your piston balance. take em out and have a machine shop do it so they can balance them when they are done, it will give you a chance to re ring the engine too.... its really no more work than all that taping off and dremeling

It was actually my friends car. Bone stock block with mildly worked GSR head and JUN 3 cams. That's about it except for an ITR plenum and Hondata.

Motor was running strong last I heard but I think he sold the car. Ran 12.3 in the quarter in a gutted hatch at 2,700ft elevation.

He posted the dyno a while back but half the people on here called bullshit. Doesn't really matter to me................I saw it with my own two eyes.
