FS: '98 GS-R, Super Sonic Blue Pearl
1998 Integra GS-R 3-door Hatchback

$14,500 Car is located in Orlando, FL.
Only 35,950 miles, original owner
Exterior: Super Sonic Blue Pearl
Interior: Ebony cloth.
No dents or dings, some minor bug marks on front.
The original tires have just been replaced with Kumho ECSTA 711 205/50VR15 tires.
No aftermarket add-ons. Bone stock. Non-smoker car.
Dealer installed options:
- Theft deterrent system / Keyless entry
- Carpeted floor mats
- Carpeted cargo mat
- Mud guards
- Wheel locks
I also have a factory service manual and 1998 Integra brochure.
The car has not been raced or abused. Oil changed every 3750 miles. I have all service records which are only oil changes and 30K mile service. The rear bumper cover has been repainted due to a minor rear end collision. The rear side windows were both replaced in January, just before the warranty expired, to fix the molding that was sticking out in the back.

Nice car. I love that color! I think ive seen you in the UCF area, unless its someones elses car. BTW, why you selling?
The only reason that I am selling it is I really really really really want an RSX Type-S. This is amazing for me as I drove my previous Integra for 10 years and 185K miles.

Thanks for the TTT! Yes. I LOVE the color. I do, however, believe that I could learn to love Arctic Blue Pearl as much. Not quite as rare though!

Is this the 'Teg thats @ Titan? If so, its really clean, great deal! Id buy it if i didnt already have an Integra, good luck!
As I was driving to work this morning, I was thinking about how much fun this car is to drive. Do I really want to pay $9K more for a new RSX Type-S? I dunno. That's a tough question. I know. I know. For a lot less than $9K I can modify my Integra to beat the pants off of a new RSX Type-S. Sorry. That's not me. I normally drive a car for 10 years and don't have the time to regularly tweak and upgrade a car. Reliability is more important. Enough rambling.
I'll be putting it in AutoTrader on Monday. If I don't sell it before the end of the year, I'll just keep it and put on some new tires.
Good, I guess my '99 GSR I 'm selling for $15.9K with 28k mi. is a good deal then, plus I have a good amount of mods that make the car a lot more fun to drive.
It's not easy selling 2-4yr old GSRs because $15, 14K, etc. is a lot of money for a used car and for most people. There was this one kid that looked at my car, drove it and loved it but called me today and told me he decided to buy a new '02 EX Coupe for the same amount of money. Some people would rather get a much slower but newer car. Same reason why people have trouble selling their ITRs for $20-22K even though they 're rare and are worth every penny and we drool over them. I know 3 people right now selling their ITRs and they 've been on the market for many weeks! The majority of the people would rather spend $2K more and get a new RSX-S or some other new car. The word "NEW" is very powerful and plays a major role in the decision process. GSRs become a lot easier to sell when they get up in age and the asking price is <$10K.

If I were in a hurry to sell my car, I might price it lower. However, the Super Sonic Blue Pearl GS-Rs were only made for 2 years and they are becoming more difficult to find in stock form. If you try to find an unmodified SSBP '98 or '99 GS-R for sale, you will find only a few nationwide, if any. If you want black, white, or dark green, you shouldn't have much trouble finding one.
If someone is looking for a car to perform major modifications to, an older car is the best value. If they are looking for a reliable car that is fun to drive and will last them several years, an unmodified car is worth more to them. A modified car implies that the car was driven at the limits on a regular basis. This may or not be the case for a particular car, but in most cases, modifications reduce the market value of a car.
Good luck selling your car. I hope you get your price!
