Sorry for the weird title, but it's just to help out those searching b/c i couldn't find it. The only information I have found is people posting that they 'think' they can't put a quaife in the M2B4 b/c of the a different bolt pattern.

Does anyone know the truth?

If you don't have experience with it, don't post hearsay, that's almost just as bad as telling a lie.

 

no its not possible. Thats how i almost ended up with my m2b4 tranny, guy had to sell it to fit a different lsd in the beast.

That's nice, but shipping a transmission from florida to california is not cheap. Hopefully someone wll reply to this post with actual experience.

Why dont you try it and tell us? buy the LSD, if it doesnt fit eaither sell it or sell the tranny.

hehe, thaniks for that link. At the time i didn't know it wouldn't fit the housing, i just new the stock LSD by itself was a pain to find. As I am looking for one myself right now.

 

Does not fit. Go ahead and try...even if you use a FD from another tranny with the correct number of bolts.

QuaifeAmericaRep can eat my ***, you should be checking with Quaife Japan it seems
