Default M2B4 with Quaife LSD? JDM H22 LSD tranny transmission

Sorry for the weird title, but it's just to help out those searching b/c i couldn't find it. The only information I have found is people posting that they 'think' they can't put a quaife in the M2B4 b/c of the a different bolt pattern.

Does anyone know the truth?

Sorry, I don't mean to sound harsh, but I don't want to hear what you guys think or believe. I want to hear what is truth.

If you don't have experience with it, don't post hearsay, that's almost just as bad as telling a lie.

Ok, well, I just got off the phone with Quaife America and I quote:

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by QuaifeAmericaRep &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote"> I've never heard of any particular instance where it did not fit correctly. The problem with honda transmissions between JDM, USDM, CDM, and EDM is that there are so many slight variations that it makes it tough. If you want to insure that it will fit the best thing i can do for you is to have you ship your transmission to use and we can take the measurements and make sure it fits and we will send it back. Then you will only be out your shipping costs.</TD></TR></TABLE>

That's nice, but shipping a transmission from florida to california is not cheap. Hopefully someone wll reply to this post with actual experience.

Does not fit. Go ahead and try...even if you use a FD from another tranny with the correct number of bolts.

QuaifeAmericaRep can eat my ***, you should be checking with Quaife Japan it seems
