Installed T1R Exhaust on my S2000 - MUST READ (DYI inside)
So I went to Spugen's shop and installed my brand new T1R exhaust for my S2000.
Here is how the exhaust looks brand new:
(Note: First 3 pictures are not mine)

After a hour drive home I inspected my exhaust:
(Excuse the 1st few pictures, they were with my camera)

After wiping stuff off with a towel...

Damn, what a buzzkill. The exhaust seemed to have plenty of clearance between the tip and the bumper. WTH happened?! After inspecting the exhaust, I noticed there were only two hangers on the right side. The exhaust can easily swing to the right with a sharp turn or jolt. When swinging to the right, the exhaust touches the rear valence. (I fixed the problem by securing the hangers).
Oh man, I was so pissed, so I looked in my garage and pulled out this:

After polishing the black off a bit, I noticed the blue/purple titanium color was faded. I didn't like the entire blue tip anyways and I preferred something like this: (the original T1R style tip)

I was pleased with the results. I'm sure I could do better with more work, but it was pretty hot so I decided to call it a day. I will have to sand down and work on the bumper another day. The tip should change color a bit, since it is titanium. Hopefully the "Ti Burned" look will look more gradual then. If not, I'll have to work on it.
FWIW, Here's the camera phone, my new Motorola V600:

Quick Review:
1. Sounds great, not too loud. No droning on the freeways!
2. I like the looks.
3. Fitment design sucks.
If anyone is curious to see what the entire car looks like, you can check my sig.

I didn't take a picture, but after cleaning off the melted rubber residue, it was not blue underneath and very splotchy. I could not live with that.

Which? The camera phone? Or Camera? Other than the pic with the STI in it, the camera I used was my ancient 2mp Sony. It's time to upgrade. I had the S. Ti single before this.

What the hell does superstreet have to do with this ? I havent even bought an SCC mag in years. No time, but I do like to read them.
No style to a straight muffler IMO. Is that so wrong ? Appearance does matter to some extent.
