Yes thats exactly what I did i took a plug out and put put a spark plug and held it near a ground and i got no spark i did it wit hand without a spark plug, what i am thinking is i put a 80 amp bus fuse in early and it was supposed to be 50 you think that could have messed with some of the other fuses since i was amping too much?

how do you know if it is out i have taken it out, and i dunno what i am looking for, but could putting a 80 amp bus fuse in where it needs a 50 amp could send it too much amp and blow it out? and does anyone know al lthe fuses or a diagram of which ones that effect the ignition and starting the car?
This sounds like what happened on my 93 DSM. I wasn't getting spark and I replaced alsmost EVERYTHING to do with ignition. Nothing happened. We came to find out that the distributor had shorted out some how and fried not only itself but part of the ECU too.
Check your plug to your distributor to make sure you're getting some voltage there.

Update. I checked the Voltage to the Distributor and its getting power, and the coil is good, but a lot of the wires in the distributor look black and burned.

Ouch, that's not very good to hear. You'll probabl have to trace those wires and check for other damage. It may have just done the exact same thing mine did.

I am having the same problem.......New cap, rotor, plugs, coil is fine, getting ready to check the ignition control module. I was doing 60 mph or so and the car died wont restart=====no spark!
I lost spark due to ignitor module. Replaced this but now having spark problems again.

I had two dizzies die on me within six months, the last time was two weeks ago. I've heard Honda is known for having crappy distributors, and judging by my experience I would tend to agree. I agree with these guys, check the coil, and then check the ignitor, but here's the kicker, the ignitor was $169.00 last time I checked, and a whole new dizzy is $180.00 + tax (in NYC anyway) with a lifetime warranty. I ended up just buying a complete new unit from the Zone; I figure I don't have to worry about it anymore.
Check the Coil and Check the ICM (Ignitor) then let us know!

FUnny, I'm experiencing the same thing.. i've check all the fuses under the dash and by the battery.. NONE are blown.. I"m also not getting spark at the plugs either.. i also replaced the stock coil w/ a working one as well.. I am stumped..
the car is a CRV.. Let me also tell u that I did short a wire under the dash that goes to the steering colum.. its a 10 gauge black wire w/ a yellow stripe... the thing is, I can't seem to find the fuse that goes to it.. not only that.. the wire still shows 12volts when i test it w/ my multimeter..
HELP me!!!
