Default extended ARP wheel studs

well after a while of having broken studs, i finally got to it and replaced all the stock studs to ARP extended wheel studs.











tryin out my homie's wheels to see how much they stick out

Nifty. I need to do that too, but I'm want to use the TL lug studs instead b/c I only need another 1/4" of thread, and the ARP lug studs stick out quite a bit.

they are made that way because the studs have to stick out a certain length past the lugnuts ( drag racing )

well, you can use a c-clamp to press them in, but since i forgot to get them from my friend's house, i just hammered them in.

No I mean, when disassembling the front rotor caliper (exposing the wheel bearings) to get access to the wheel studs...Didn't you use a special tool for that like a press?

no you dont....Thanx to kyomugen lugnuts stripping on me i learned how to change studs......

no you dont hammer them out....you need to get a tool that wrap around the hub and studs and you have keep pull it hard til them come out......i know for toyota you can simly hammer them out but not the front hondas....i think the rear you can....but not the front..

how are you gonna tell me that you don't hammer the hub out when i did it on mines. you can hammer them out guys. i guess everybody has their own ways of doing it

You're just weak, and couldn't hammer them out yourself.

Did you weld the studs to the back of the hub? Is it necessary for the ARP studs?

nope they weren't welded, fit in there pretty tight. I'be read that the Skunk2's are the ones that may need to be welded
