M&H Mike:
Hey JOHN, what do you think of the 27x9x15 or the 27x10x15??? What power level and tranny is good for using these sizes???
currently running 26x9x15 hoosiers...they are good, but I wanna try if your slicks are better. only getting 1.6s 60ft...
last year we ran 25x8.7x13 m&h and did 1.5s 60ft..... either we have way too much more power this year(180whp more), suspension dilemma, or slicks.... or just driver error. hehe!!!
I know Laskey used 26's before he switched over to 28, but what was the width??? 26"s not enough side walls??? i'm stuck on what size slicks for the race car..hehe!!!

We had a set of the MH 27x9 inch slicks. They actually looked really good. They had more width on them compared to a goodyear 9 wide. We ended up trading them though for a set of MH 26x10's...just to put more patch on the ground and not have the sidewall in hopes of keep a trans. in the car. We now run the 28x9 goodyears just cause we really need to extra sidewall in the car. I think the most width you can go is better though. When you go wider, your not adding a lot of extra weight out wider on a tire. But when u go to a taller tire...you add extra weight further away from the drivetrain which makes it harder on everything.

i am pushing over 550 whp and I ran 26x8.5x15 MT's and they just spin!
John sent me a set of 25x8.7x13 MH's and I still haven't tried them. I am having oil pressure problems.
I have seen MH's, Goodyear's and MT's and looks like the MH's bite to the track better

haha, way too much tire for 550-600, plus a 28 is a drivetrain killer.
