Installed Omni Full Coilovers on my Midori Hatch! (56k.. suck a ball zak)
Was off work today for once and had to go to the DMV to get my tags and chit transferred over on my newly acquired hatchcrap. Got out of the DMV a lot faster than I had expected so my bro and I took a trip down to my aunt and uncle's house to use the shop. And we quickly got busy on the install.

I got the 10kF/6kR setup and I cannot say enough good things about these coilovers! IMO, the best on the market for the price range. Omni gets x ELEVENTY BILLION

Not really. It's a lil bouncy but nothing you couldn't get use to. In hindsight, I kinda wish I'd gone with the 12k/8k rates. Oh well!! I still love 'em!

BTW, where is your storage compartment armest that goes by the e-brake. I though all dx hatches had those things and yours just has the ash tray thing.

damn seriously want a set here...you think 12/8 setup is too stiff for the street?
this is coming from a guy who had skunk2 coils and lived with that for about a year and man was the ride bouncy as f*k!
if you can tolerate s2 coils w/ blown shocks, you can tolerate anything

I don't think they'd be too stiff. BUT, if it's your daily driver, I wouldn't go with a spring rate that extreme. I would like to have the 12k/8k rates but just for this very reason I went with the milder of the two.
I talked with Steve (Omni) extensively about what I wanted out of my suspension and he recommended the 10k/6k.
