Default oxygen sensor wiring help

I am trying to replace my primary (before cat) O2 sensor with a universal. I thought I did it right, but afterwards got a code 41 (short or open circuit). I am pretty sure all my connections are solid, so I think I hooked it up wrong.

My question is: Does anyone know what wires on the stock harness are signal, heater, ground etc? There are two whites, a gray and a black. I know the two whites are ground, but now I have the gray and a black wire, don't know what to hook them to on the new sensor.

Thanks for any help...

The car is a 98 Base prelude.

The two whites are the heater wires.
The gray is the signal and the black is ground.

Hope this helps.
