M H Racemasters....What tire pressure? My problems :( Tubes?
Finally got out to do some real shakedown passes on the car ( I know not a Honda but you guys have the intelligence to answer with facts ) anyway at 8-10 psi pressures the takes off ok, but as soon as I hit the power band I get a little torque steer which causes the car to move and then the tires start to roll side to side and this makes the whole thing worse, in simple, there is no way I can get down the track straight. Now I was talking to some of the 10.5 Outlaw guys and they were telling me to go 14 to 20psi, actually start at 20 and bump it down until the car starts to feel on the edge, so I did, and at 14psi the car stays straight, but become more of a handful to drive, best 60', ET and MPH gained to date 12.3 at 113 at 14psi ( so from the dyno that would put me at about 390 to 410 whp )
Another point I was given is that because the 10" tire is narrow, yet at 27" it's pretty tall, that I would be alot better running tubes?
So feedback please I really need your help.

OK just got off the phone with John at MH and got some good answers. I'd like to add this, thats just incredible, it's Sunday, and he's right their on the phone ready to help out...... MH
I'd still like more feedback....

the reason those guys told you to run 14 psi in the tires is because they have rear drive, ton of weight espcially on the rear tires. FWD doesnt have or see near the weight on the front tires.... nobody runs over 10-12 psi in their slicks, and nobody runs tubes. I think your problem lies elsewhere. Maybe try a smaller tire for a while like a 25 or 26 by 8 or 9.
No they didnt tell me to run 14psi they told me to start at 20 and drop down until I find a happy medium, that was at 14psi ? John suggested adding about an 1/8" of toe in, and that I also may just not be up to the power levels needed for the 27, so bump it up.....

I don't think you are over slick'd. Anything smaller would make it nearly impossible to get out of the whole with that torque. Maybe a little more seat time would help? Practice makes perfect
Whatever the case sounds like a pretty crazy car. Pics?

What are your alinment specs front and rear?
You could try some extra caster on the side that has the pull.
Be sure you have some toe in in the rear
Also be sure you arn't fighting the car. It should be more of a dance then a
battle. Guide the car don't react to every small movement it makes.
Is the car spinning the tires when it starts to pull?

damn bro that sucks for ya, I actually run 25x8.7x13 mh's I leave my toe in about 1/8 inch, camber neg 0.9. I run 6.5-7.5 psi depending on the temperature of the track. I have no problems with consistant 1.6's and 1.7 flats.
