Who wants a H22 Prospeed Header???
I've been in contact with Brian from Prospeed and he said if we could get together 10 or more people, then a group buy would be possible. And with all group buys, the more people...the cheaper....
This header rivals SMSP or Hytec performance, but costs much less depending on what version you get. The cost will be determined very soon according to Brian, this is largely to get solid proof of the interest, then when that has been done, pricing will be decided!
They make versions for just about every h22 application, yes, even Preludes. (Thanks for working out the fitment issues SHAKES!)
Here's the website: http://www.prospeedpower.com/
And here are some links to various people with dyno plots with this header:

So I'll start the list with my name...
1- Justin Montoya - Prelude SH H22 Header - mild steel w/ merge collector
2- Rick Solis - 5th gen prelude, mild steel w/ merge collector
3- Jon Edir - 5th gen prelude base, SS with merge collector
4- jesse buckland - 95 accord h22a, mild steel with merge collector
5- Tim Meade - 01 base prelude, SS merge collector
6- Rick Vigno - base model merge collector in mild steel
7- Mark Perez 1993 Honda Accord with H22A - Merge/SS
8- N2oH22@aol.com Prelude Base undecided on version
9- Josh Garland Prelude SS Merge in mild steel
10- Lance Collett-5th gen base 5-speed mild steel with stamp collector
11- Speedra500 93 lude vtec Merge with ceramic coating?
12- Altered4 93 lude vtec Mild steel merge?
Let's get this rollin!
Awesome guys! At this rate we'll have a bigger group buy than expected, and you know what that means!!! Tell any of your fellow h22 buddies!

We would also be interested if the price is right. Merge collector/stainless steel would be our choice for the header. Our application would be for a 1993 Honda Accord with H22A engine swap. I would have to be reassured by Brian that it will fit the 4th Generation Honda Accord as i didn't have any luck with the AN-R header we received and ended up having to sell it.

Same. Merge Collecter/mild steel(I think... I don't want the $200 stainless upgrade, so whatever is standard). 2001(5th gen) Prelude, with Sport Shifter tranny and Jackson Racing Supercharger, if it matters.

I'm interested but I need to know..
#1 Do we or do we not have to notch the cross member? I do not want to have to cut it up at all.
#2 Price range for each of the options of the header.
#3 Which Preludes/Accords does this header fit?
#4 Looking at the pictures, how does the slip joint stay as there's no retaining hardware? It was said that Prospeed wanted to spot weld that joint as well. I am not looking at purchasing a solid unit as the engine rock will kill it within a few thousand miles considering the extra weight that the extra length tubing adds.
Reason why I want extra hardware:

^^^ Shouldn't happen to a "street" version.
#5 Will a cat flange be available to be already installed on the header? I find it rather silly that a "street" version would not have a cat flange of any sort and seemingly is intended to be welded directly to an exhaust system.

oh yea, its for a 4th gen vtec, depending on how much it is going to end up costing I might want to change mine to mild steel, so I'm not positive about the ceramic right now

i will purchase a prospeed header if the price is right, and if it will fit properly without having to cut up my crossmember...
i definitely want the mild steel version, but i am undecided if i want the stamp or the merge collector... i will decide once the final price is announced, as of now, im leaning towards the stamp collector, as i am not sure if the merge collector is worth it...
i drive a '93 vtec prelude...

Brian says that he'll have costs within the week. Right now it looks like we may be able to get 15 people! that should be enough for a good discount, but we all have to wait and see!
