Default Got back from the Dyno with Euro R motor with JDMSHIT map and K Garage tuning(lol)

Hey guys i went to the dyno earlier this afternoon with my euro R integra. Mods are short ram intake, stock header, and 2.25 catback (no cat). First run i used the JDMSHIT map and then my friend kahren made me a new map. The car ran really lean with the jdmshit map in vtec. Once it was tuned the car ran 100% better. There was a total of 6 tuning runs and there is a lot more power to be had. Future plans include cbr ITBS and custom K Garage header.

i liked the tuned version better lol. The AF doesn't go crazy like it does without tuning.

I could tell something was wrong with the jdmshit map. it would hesitate a lot. the spark plugs were nice and white when i took them out. It is pretty interesting to see how much potential the h22 has.

Cool. don't see a lot of those engines around... what did the swap run you? What gear was the run in? What ecu? Also if you are not interested in posting specific numbers then say so, it's cool. But congrats, what is the application? Drag? Roadcourse? AutoX?

I bought the motor from HMO. At the time, i was having tons of problems with boost and decided i wanted something more reliable. B series was out of the question since the hp to $$$$ ratio wasn't good.. I heard some many good things from my bro poison about h22 so i decided it was teh way to go but i really wanted lsd so bad. noone seemed to have h22 with lsd in stock so the guys at hmo told me about a euro r they had sitting around and it helped that it had lsd, so i bought it. the motor itself cost me a whopping $4k. i spent a total of maybe 1200 to get it running and about a week of work. there was a ton of custom work including rewiring the harness which my cousin did. I made the IAC remote mount so i had to custom make flanges for those and an egr blockoff.

I have this car setup for auto X. suspension so far is just OTS koni yellows with 448 front springs and 500 rear springs and itr sway bar. a little stiff for daily use but i am used to it.
Like i said in the first post the motor is stock with a 3 inch short ram and stock header. The dyno run was done in 3rd gear with a p28. I wasn't sure of waht to expect before the first dyno run. The car felt really sluggish and was hesitating a lot but it idled..lol. tuning the car was the best thing i could've done. modifications to the car can only do so much to the car.
i really can't wait to put on a header and maybe itbs soon and take my car to limerock.
if anyone has any questions they'd like to be answered then please pm me i'd be happy to answer questions.

peter

AkEuro_R, Peter K what are your tranny codes? I am trying to find out what a T2C5 is and can't find it anywhere. It supposedly comes out of a JDM accord and I need to know what it is. thanks...

Head back to the dyno and fine tune your air fuel curve. It looks like the rocky mountains from 400 miles away. Fine tuning ITB's is fun huh?

Nice car and engine bro !

I wanted to swap a Euro R motor into my 1992 CX, but I decided to go with the JDM H23A DOHC VTEC. HAHAHA...I have more displacement than you !

Actually, I still wish I had the Euro R...

...I love the transmission !

thanks, eliminates another possibility for me... BTW your AF is not that bad but you could do better. I just tuned my h22 and it stays pretty solid 13.5 across the board even at vtec xover. made sweet torque...

thanks again
