b16 2nd o2 sensor
on hhu.com their was a link to this question... integra forum...
i think it was that if u had an obd1 system with obd2 motor u could run the 2nd o2 onto a piggy back tricking the ecu into thinking u have a working 2nd o2 sensor...
why the hell did u buy a obd2 motor? in a crx no less.. dont wanna know what that was like getting it to work

how do you tell which one is the primary o2 and which is the secondary o2, according to that picture, i have it switched around, would it make a difference if they were switched? TIA.

great pics that really helped. now how do i put the wire into the clip that goes into the ecu. isn't there a pin that goes over the wire that goes into the ecu? how do i get it in the pin?

If yours is running good, and there is no hesitation, its correct. If there is hesitation, switch them.

If you have it switched,it will run like crap..and will be too rich..
Go here: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=404493&page=1
and https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=404493&page=2
and read what a guy called "Camshaft" had to say..(2 pages)
P.S.>If you do have them switched around,be sure to reset your ECU while
you are at it..
To wire it up you need an extra pin from a donor harness or an unused
wire if you have one.
For info on removing the pins,go here: http://www.deepstaged.net/rpecu4gb.htm

88DXCRX.
okay can i just take out the o2 sensor and switch spots. or are the actual o2 sensors built differently. cuz than i'll just switch the positions rather than re-splicing the wires. cuz right now, i guess you could say the primary o2 sensor wire is spliced into the secondary o2 sensor on the ecu pinout. and primary pinout wire is connected to secondary o2 sensor.
i don't got much bog.
only bog i get is when i'm in 5th gear goign about 110-115 KM/H at about 4 grand, it bogs there, if i put on the throattle it kinda chokes, so would changing my o2 sensor wiring correct this?
-> and by the way, i'm suppose to connect the A/F ratio to the primary o2 sensor correct, it doesn't bounce liek all the other A/F ratio i seen. Thanks 88dxcrx, you've been a great help so far. very much appriciated.

Yes,you can swap positions of the O2 sensors in the exhaust manifold..
That is what I would have done if I had known at that time..
Since my engine was already installed,
I figured it would be hell to get the sensors so
I just switched the two wires at the ECU.
For my car, having the o2 sensors wired correctly
made a big difference in the performance and drivability.
Good Luck,Phil

hey 88dxcrx, it feels a bit better now that i have changed the wires over, but we'll see how much response it has on the highway
thanks again bro. but i have another problem now lol
but i'll make a new thread.

Little tip, the pic posted above showing the clips and numbers is a great pic but the pic is backward compared to how other sites list them, so just use 1 chart and you will be good.

I all ready have both my o2 sensors in, wired up and working correctly with the original white and green connectors.
But i want to replace the o2 sensors, so my question is are the two sensors the same and what is the replacement part no.
thanks
***Edit *** called my local honda dealer and for the o2 sensor from a 92-95 si they want $250 CND per sensor. I am i crazy or is this nucking futs? Has anybody replaced these o2 sensors with non OEM sensors? If so what brand and how did it turn out.
