Try an NGK BKR6 or BKR7 (the 7 is one range colder than 6). I believe those are the model numbers (off the top of my head).

I use the 6 range on stock compression engines, and 7 range on about 11:1 and up.

I think NGK for GSR are :

BKR6E-11

but you can use:

BKR7E-11

for Colder.

Can anyone confirm this?

so what the benifit of using BKR7E-11 (cooler plug).....

I've got 11.4 to 1 compression and I'm currently using the BKR6E-11 with the timing retarded to stop pinging....

If the go with the 7's will I be able to advance the timing a bit....

Possibly. Spark will be made further from the pistons because the colder plugs have an electrode that sits up higher than the warmer equivalent.

But then there are BKR6ES-11 where the S for Standard, and w/o the S it't the V-power. I read that V-power are better for Turbo, but had anyone found the v-power better than standard for NA vtec engines?

here is a link
