i used to always want them rims until i saw the price

 

black racing pro n-1's wheels are close to what the advan rg looks like and cheaper

i think pro n1s are replicas of ssr comps

 

no offense but i'm very glad they can't replicate advans. i have a set 17 bronze, so does my bro and a buddy. the rg's and m7's feel like the last frontier for rota or tenzo..if they copy these, there'd be no wheel worth dreaming about IMO.

 

 

we had to work hard and save up for these sets but worth every penny when you know no one will have the same wheels as you at a meet

 

Back in the days when the Advan RGs just came out.. they were my all time favourite rim. I even had a set on order.. until some Korean company started churning out the fakes and started selling them here, and then everyone in town, including their moms and dads, were rolling on fake RGs. Quite sad.

never knew they made fakes.always thought it was too hard to duplicate since its anodized gold plus the extra blue lip..too hard for em-until I saw them in a thai magazine w/ used / new parts..mugen, spoon etc. they looked hella real. i even bought a phone card and told my mom to talk to them in thai. they also had recaro srd's for cheap. i was trying to buy stuff there and sell them here-this was about 3 yrs ago so people were buying them like crazy

I don't think they should be copied...Rota will probably get a replica going soon enough though and ***** these out too.

 

i swear you guys have rg's on all your cars....isn't there a red ek with a set also? anyways your cars all look good. m7 is rota's next copy from what i am hearing.....

why are they so expensive anyways?

 

Quality build forged rim made in japan...oppose to being cast or semi cast. That's why its so expensive.
