Default FS: '90 Civic Hatch - extras - MD/DC/VA area

Testing the waters to see if there is any interest.

I've got my gold '90 STD hatch that needs to get moved out of my driveway/garage. Has 145K miles on the body, and a blown engine (had 127K when I did a head swap for an '00 dx head, so I was running basically an Si MPFI head swap, just with a newer head). The engine was already burning oil when I did the swap, so doing about 20k miles on it with higher compression wouldn't last, engine gave out in Dec. '02.

I got a '93 DX engine with a little over 100K on it last year, and it is sitting in my garage waiting to be swapped in. I already transferred the Si manifold from my old set-up needed to put the engine in, but have not swapped the trannies yet (the stock block and 4-spd tranny are still in the car - the DX tranny is a 5-spd hydraulic, so will not work, but you can pull it and sell it on Fleabay for a $100 or so probably). The car is already wired as an Si, so someone just has to swap in the engine/tranny to get rolling again. I just have no time or energy to do it. Really it is a rolling chasis that has the engine available. I started the swap process by labeling and pulling wires/etc., and started disassembling the suspension, but didn't get the axles pulled, so it will only take me a half day to get it rolling/towable again.

This should be a mid-high 15 second car with the engine in it and the list of goodies below that comes with it:

EF Si AEM short ram
4-2-1 older Bosal header
brand new (installed last year, but no miles on it) 2-1/4" exhaust
brand new (ditto) high flow cat
EF Si fuel pump
EF Si ecu

Other goodies include:

Front, rear strut tower and rear subframe brace (generic, but they work fine)
KYB AGX front/rear 4-way adjustable shocks - installed Nov. '01
older Eibach springs - 2" drop or so - installed Nov. '01
generic short shift kit, works great
14" generic steelies instead of stock 13's, decent tread left

Only other real issue is front windshield is cracked from getting it with a rock, and then freeze/thaw over two winters.

Taking REASONABLE offers. Parts and car (including the engine) are worth over $1000, so please no low ballers - will wait until seeing what offers I get before going below 1 grand. Will get pics as soon as I can, and e-mail them to interested parties.

****You pick it up, you haul it, I don't have the resources to ship it.*****

Post or e-mail me at rcarter@bigwaha.com

Tanks.
