custom trunk system, need pics or help pleezze
i right now have 2 10'' jl w0 subs in a box w/ a cheap lightning audio amp i paid $700 for everything and now want to make a custom system. i want 2 10''s still but put them in the spare wheel well and put an amp and equillizer in the back of my seats. i know people do this all the time, but i dont know how. so if anyone has anyone pics of how it's done thanks. also i was gonna sell the stuff i have now and get new stuff, i dont do the audio thing so can anyone help? also i haven't worked w/ fiberglass and i know i will have to use that for the box.
Take it to a shop.
Most people don't do flat out complete custom trunks unless they've done smaller projects before. It takes weeks to do and if you don't have the tools already, it can get real expensive.

it took me about three months to piece my **** together. Here are the pics . ..
After doing all of this myself, at my friend's shop, I would recommend you just pay them to do it. Think of all the money you could be making (if you are productive) with the time you don't spend on your car!

Hey nice setup, I was going to do something like that, mounting it flat. How does it sound as compared to a box with the sub facing towards the back, it doesn't sound like the sound kind of fads away, does it? what setup do you have? I like the way my sub sounds, becuase the sound "reflects" off of the back of the trunk sort of speak, if you know what I mean. Also what materials did you use?, obviously fiberglass, but what about the flat parts? TIA
Mostly Berch (sp?) wood, and yes, lots of fiberglass.
It actually sounds pretty good, no fading - I tried to build something where it bounces off the rear hatch window, but I thought that this sounds and looks better.
