Can someone confirm this wiring pin-out for a '90 teg automatic gauge cluster...?
There's 3 plugs on the back, but I'm only interested in the 10 pin and the 12 pin. I believe the green plug is mainly tranny shift indicators so I won't be using that one. My project is to install the complete dash from a '90 teg into my '90 hatch but I don't want to have to buy a helms manual JUST for this pinout. Any help you folks can give me would be greatly appreciated.
What I have so far:
10-pin plug (reading from the back on the cluster, left to right)
1--ylw/red--seat belt indicator
2--grn/red--brake indicator
3--grn/blk--trunk open indicator
4--grn/red--instrument lighting
5--ylw--fuel gauge
6--ylw/red--speedo signal (or some such)
7--red--instrument lighting
8--n/c
9--red/blk--instrument lighting
10--grn/ylw--right turn indicator
12-pin plug (reading from the back of the cluster, left to right)
1--grn--left turn indicator
2--red/blue--bright headlights indicator
3--blue/red--n/c (no blub present, nothing on the screen in the panel)
4--blue--tach signal
5--grn/red--door open indicator
6--ylw/grn--temperature gauge
7--blk--battery voltage (for temp/fuel gauges and some indicator lights)
8--ylw--battery voltage (for temp/fuel gauges and door indicator light)
9--grn/red--check engine indicator
10--blk--battery indicator
11--wht--battery indicator
12--ylw/red--oil indicator
I followed the trace lines on the back of the cluster so this could all be waaaay wrong.....but I really don't think so. I'm only hoping someone can verify these connections for me before I start popping fuses when I do this dash swap.
Thanks!
