Gates open at NOON with the 1st round scheduled for 4:00 PM. Times could vary either way depending on number of vehicles. Should be insane with HUGE number of street cars.

Because you get 'humped' (as you would say), every time you race out of state, thats why.

Default Live Performances at the BATTLE This Saturday Night at Famoso Raceway

BATTLE OF THE IMPORTS TO SHOWCASE LIVE MUSICAL PERFORMANCES FROM THE HOTTEST BANDS IN CALIFORNIA THIS SATURDAY NIGHT AT FAMOSO RACEWAY

Albino Catfish is a new breed of Southern California independent rock and roll band. It pulls from a wide range of influences to create a new sound with a familiar flavor. The band has been together since 2001 and have playing shows in L.A. and O.C. for the last year.
Brian Bradford and Carlos Feliciano grew up together in Cerritos, CA and founded the band in 2001. Robert Coddington was born in the San Fernando Valley but now lives in Hollywood, CA joined the band in 2002. Lastly, Jose Gonzalez came out from Texas and jumped aboard in early 2003.

American Eyes is a party band who can actually play. Broken hearts and pissed off white boys. Fashion misfits with sharp minds. Punk rock and hard rock. You've probably heard of them already. If not, you're missing out.
Playing all over California, maybe at your girlfriend's house. Band members include Dave Zonshine, Kevin Reynolds, Brent Richardson, Oliver Gold and Bruce Alex

As NightFalls has been praised by professionals for their unique approach to the genre, largely through the group's ingenious weaving of melody amongst otherwise pummeling passages, coupled with Baker's outstanding female vocal presence. These same professionals have also embraced AS NIGHT FALLS, assisting them in every way possible. Producer Sergio Chavez (Limp Bizkit, Evanescence, Death By Stereo) is one of them, having guided the members in the exploration of their remarkable musical abilities by recording and mixing the band's debut EP at NRG Recording Services in North Hollywood, Calif. (Linkin Park, No Doubt and Stone Temple Pilots.)

Beyond Conception is made up of Justin Abrams, Matt Abrams, Clint Armstrong and Jon Colburn. The rock/emo band officially formed on Halloween 2002 and has been together ever since. They are from Laguna Niguel, CA. People have compared their sounds to Coldplay.

Another Year was formed in March 2003 in Bakersfield California. The band consists of three members Tony B on Vocals/Guitar, on Bass and backup vocals is Justin Wolf and Eric Ayler behind the kit. Another Year's music is best defined simply just as Rock. Our music covers all styles of rock n' roll from Hard Rock to reggae but with our own style. We play music that we would listen to. Some of our current musical influences are: Queens of the Stone Age, John Frusciante, 311, Modest Mouse, The Who, Mars Volta, Thrice, Red Hot Chili Peppers and the Strokes.

Cavil at Rest is one of Orange County's premiere Indie rock bands that makes music that moves. Music that taps your mind while you tap your feet. Band members consist of Chris Filley, Kelcey Ayer, Taylor Rice, Andy Savage, Ryan Hahn and Mike Rosenbaum.

You must have forgotten asking me "Why is that?" when I mentioned the Northern California guys are gonna do well there, scroll up to read that. My initial response had nothing to do with you.

I mentioned You get humped everytime you race out of state, because you do. I know you have planned attending this event so I will wish you luck doing your best for Las Vegas.

My support still goes out to the few racers From California that I met last year at the shop in Las Vegas.

Of course it's a fast track it's the home of M&H slicks

But being serious I heard it's a very nice track, too bad I won't be able to find out this weekend maybe next time. Good luck to all those that race. Be safe.
