Default do B series JDM engines have a evap purge control solenoid?

ANyone know.

The reason I am makin this thread is because it seems like this engine I am working on does not have a evap purge control solenoid, but I dont know if its like that on all JDM engines or not. My USDM helms manual shows the piece(so maybe its just limited to USDM models). Included below is a picture, the red circle is where the solenoid would usually sit(accordin to the USDM helms) Thanks.

Any info, or even pictures of JDM engines so I can see if they have it or not are appreciated.

Its a USDM only peice. They dont come on JDM motors. The car will run fine without it, but if you want, use the USDM unit and put a "t" in one of your vacuum lines and run it to the EVAP solenoid.

thank god, finally a response you rool. So correct me if im wrong, theres a vaccum line that runs from the evap canister to it, and out the other end and connects to the vacuum hose thats bend directly to the left of the circle right. So instead now I just connect that hose to the evap canister.

No, the EVAP on us motors runs directly from a nipple on the IM, meaning it runs off vaccum. There should only be one hose coming off of the EVAP solenoid along with the wiring connector. Thats why I say just use a "t" fitting from one of your other vaccum lines.

EDIT: Corection^^thats how its run on the B16s. Sorry. On the B18C1s, it looks like it has two nipples. One DOES go to the EVAP canister, while the other still goes to the IM, or the "t" your using.

I need to hook up my PCS and I'm still not quite sure how. Well, I still don't actually have the pcs but sould have one in a few days. Heres how I'm trying to figure it out, with pictures.

I will be eliminating the old plug for the pcs(red circle) and using the piggyback harness.
Once I mount the pcs to the green circle, will I "t" into the vaccum line that I painted yellow, or how will I hook it up?
