No clutch splines are different 88 trans smaller 91 trans bigger
88 flywheel smaller
91 flywheel bigger
not compatable
88 trans must use 88 flyhweel clutch and pplate

what makes the 91 flywheel not work with the 88 clutch and pressure plate?

i thought the 91 flywheel just has a larger surface area. the 88 clutch disc uses a smaller surface area, so i dont see why it wouldnt work.

the pressure plate mounting holes on the 91 flywheel have a larger diameter bolt circle than the 88 pressure plate
