just be sure your cage is in good(tracy,i know your wife's is)and your belts are tight.the end of that track is pretty freaking scary!

Danny, don't worry about the cage in that car. The track is being re-paved as we speak. Top end was the only problem (past the traps)

 

Isnt there a NHRA race on the same date in Bandimere?

Yes there is a NHRA event in Bandimere, Co.
This is a NDRA Street Warz event, Co. - Al. not close enough to matter

 

Brittany will be at Alabama
I will likely be at Bandimere

 

the track has already been re-paved.i was there sunday.after the finish line,it is the roughest thing i have ever seen.it scared the hell out of me.

yes.....they do not run the pro classes at this particular event

everything else is exactly the same

 

No Pro classes at this event. Bonus pay out and contingency for the Street Class racers.

The track is currently be ground down and re surfaced after the finish line. These repairs are costing the track owner a ton, this is the 3rd contractor he has had to pay to fix this problem. He assures me, it will be fixed, and he will run his IHRA Pro Stck car down both lanes to verify that it is fixed and ready to go.

Also how is the track there? do they prep good.
I wasn't to happy with the last nopi street wars seems like they didn't care to much since the pro's were not there.

Hey Chris, glad You will be there. Yes this track will be prepped good, and it is a new surface. Concrete 660' out new asphalt to the end at the run off. They had a dip at the finish line and are in the process of re doing that area. Jason, the track owner, races IHRA Pro Stock and guarantees the track surface by the time we get there. He apologizes to the racers that ran this weekend with the track problems.

Quick Question. Are You going to run the whole season for the championship?

Hey Chris, all of the tracks do the prep for us, unfortunately the guys down there did not want to be there. You saw how they treated the racers like crap, and hurried everyone through eliminations. That is why we try to partner up with good ficilities, this one has just bitten us on the butt cheeks.

i am sure gary white will be out there running his personal supra - should be some good racing with you - he runs drag radials and has a 6 speed in it still hitting high 10s but that 6 speed and the radials are tough to be consistent on - he does a hell of a job at it though
