Alright guys, i know there are those of you with black painted ic's. Post the pics you guys got w/ the method and paint you used ( pics of the process or before/after would be sweet ). This is not a thread for people to post opinions on whether or not you should paint your ic so plz, leave that **** out of it. This is just for the guys that painted their ic's for the sleeper look or whatever other reason...well, post away !

BTW: I did use a search but most of the pics are x's so don't jump down my throat. With this thread we can have methods of painting, paint used and pics of the process.

Yeah this is my intercooler and it's come with drag kits.
I just painted mine a lil and decided to go with Pantyhoes for that stealth look.

black painted ic is to make it a sleeper?

 

It helps. I mean, your car can't be too much sleeper when ppl hear that turbo spool and bov but, it can thwart the unsuspecting eye from your car. Also stops certain ppl from asking " hey, why is your radiator so low ? "

 

I like the idea of the sleeper look...but if your gonna go through with painting your IC black atleast leave the stock black grill in the bumper and if your chargepipes are visable, paint them black too...

Not a Honda but out of all of our cars it's the only one that is black, hehe.
