A lap around Mid Ohio...
a bit late...but for anyone that has never driven on the track.

I feel like E.T. in that scene where he points his little alien finger toward the sky and says "Hooome". God I love Mid-Ohio.
Too bad you didn't get to run the original Keyhole turns, it has much more character and rewards a good touch. If you ever want to discuss some of the finer points, especially from the off camber Turn 12 through the Caroussel Turn 15, let me know.
Thanks for the memories.

Been watching cars race there for years, and finally got my first crack at it in April of this year, and man do I love that course!
Has to be one of the funnest tracks to drive in the country
Thanks for the video, I've got like 5 different videos of different people lapping the course

Having downloaded a few of your previous vids, I appreciate that I always have a feeling of what the car is doing, and where the track is going!

Just a g00d old IO Port camera mount on the back leg of the cage. Works out pretty good with the zoom all the way ou, just enough to get steering wheel and most of the windshield.

I wouldn't pay attention to those too much, it's a 4.928 FD in an USDM ITR tranny, and a fairly high rev limit

4.4 FD + 225/45/13 roughly equals 4.9 + 225/45/15. Though you probably *are* revving a little higher than my little D15 can go.

Although j00 should be able to hear the shifts, is the engine noise really that low on the video? I can hear fairly easily even with the music.
