lookin to buy some tail lights for my hatch. visually how can you tell the difference. lookin buy a set from ebay, but seller doesn't say if its for a hatch or for the 4 door. he just say its for a eg3. and he hasn't responded to my emails.

 

usualy they are different cause of body lines and length of car and wheel base. for example my bro has a eg hatch and he orderd amber corners for the front well the ones they sent didn't fit cause they were for a 4 door. they might be the same cause they are rear tail light but i would ask the user. good luck hope it works out.

 

FYI-the coupe and 4-door use the same taillights.the hatch tails are different.

if you notice the reverse light section(on the upper part of the inner half)is much bigger on the hatch lights.also,the 2/4-door outer half appears wider.
