you dont need it. just get some wires so you can extend it and it should be fine.

yeap, got it to work, but don't know how to set it??? should I just take it in for fine tunning??? cant hear the vtec anymore but engagement signal is on, not sure if vtec is hitting, cant feel it. I was wondering I have a p28 skunk chipped should I take that out since vafc is taking it's place???

my mods: GSR (VAFC)
skunk2 stage 1 cam
DC header/exhaust
aem cold air
skunk2 cam gear
vortech pressure regulator

leave the skunk2 chip in, and get it tuned. Your car should run the same as how it ran before u installed the VAFC. Thats if you didnt change any settings on it.

double check all your wires and make sure you didnt splice any wires wrong... and go get it dyno tuned.

yeah, the first time we splice the wires wrong because we looked at the ecu at the wrong angle and then rewired the correct way and vafc started up but just couldn't hear the v-tec this time????double checked and everything seems to be right...there was a v-tec signal on the controller I'm not sure if that will help, not sure how to set it to default. one more thing, is taping the wires together okay??? This wendesday is my tunning day, any suggestion before I go in.

I dont know man, I didn't tune or anything, all I did was just installation and messed with the v-tec engaement point. I assume that I can messed with the v-tec point so I did and no v-tec, car feels the same but v-tec just not kicking in.
