Jeff the the owner of Z-FABZ says it's the best way to get the cage closest to the uni-body and "truly" get the welds all the way around the tubes. Also the cut out floor was for the same reason it is going back in in factory location. The car should be ready in the next 3 or so month - complete. And we hope to test within the month of September.
THANK SO MUCH

Are you thinking about the CRX - it's at NUFORMZ right now and we have about 90% of the finishing parts but who know's when it will be finished. Shop/Customers come first !

Looks good hopefully no one complains about all that you cut out and re-welding back in. Uh oh which one is going to get done first this one or the one at Nuformz. Was there the other day looks good and it is almost done. They were working on the wheelie bars.

If I had to bet I would say the hatch will be done far before the crx, the cage needs work to be legal and we all know how busy the Nuformz crew is.
As for the tubs we were "told" the same thing about the safty and tire size - lets hope NHRA doesn't change this rule.
Thanks for all the good words. I going to post more pics of both cars tonight.
