Couple of Questions:

You posted that you're using a 99 Civic DX ECU? Did i read that correctly? How does that work--using a non VTEC ECU with a VTEC engine?

Any problems with the swap/engine? Revs funny? overheats? stalls? etc.?

Any grinds in the tranny? Dual friction clutch--what kind?

Also, is the car running OBD-II, because you have an OBD-II ECU? If not, what is it running?

You have SKunk2 coilovers, but are using stock shocks? Is that correct?

I sent more questions via PM. Let me know.

I used a 99 DX ecu to make a Jumper for my OBD1 jdm SIR ECU... next no overheating(new thermo, and TEG GSR full lenth raditor with both fans wired)...sometimes it will idle up and down (rich and then lean) but sometimes...I have put a new TB gasket on it, put a new IAT on it, new map and new IAC trying to find the problem... so the only code/problem or issue with the motor is the reving up and down intermittenly.

The clutch is a dual fritcion setup made by ASHEVILLE CLUTCH and BRAKE. He has mad several cluthces for my singles over heads and my both of my swaps so, again I had a DF made for this one. Preety streetable compared to others in the past! No grinds in tranny but I may have a ruined bearing cause sometimes it makes noise so if I don't sell it I plan to pull it and check all the gears and get 2 new bearings.

The axles are brand new.. I just put GSR brakes on the front and the oil has been changed religiously. The new motor only has about 3000 miles on it.... takin 10 for it when I have 12-13 in it... let me know...

and yeah I am about an hour from Marion, NC

Couple more questions:

1. Did you use stock head/rod bolts or ARP ones?

2. What timing belt/water pump combination did you use? Both from the B16a? I heard you have to use a GSR timing belt, because the B16 isnt long enough?

3. What compresion are you running with the P73 pistons? 10.8:1? 11.0:1?

4. Are you using a VTEC oil pump?

5. SS oil lines?

Let me know, Thanks

1. stock head bolts, ARP rod bolts.
2.GSR timing belt and pumps...b16 is too short cause of the deck height
3.11.3:1 or maybe even close to 11.5:1 cause the block was decked by the machinist
4. Vtec oil pump
5. Stainless steel lines and all fitings

THIS WAS DONE BY A PROFESSIONAL MACHINE SHOP and this is my second engine. Probably my 5th DOHC build..( I re-built my b16a several times cause of NOS ) LOL
