Owners who wish to keep the 94-97 front end. I am having a hard time finding this lip (used). Anyone know an aftermarket company that makes any? Importer who may have one or where I can order one from?

 

Ummm i think you have things a bit mixed up...
this is a 1996 Integra SIR-G imported from japan owned by a H-T member (see the RHD)....



it has the same nose as the JDM type R but with chrome headlights not black housing.

What you are talking about/looking for is an "Integra Si VTEC" front lip...those have the US style 94-97 nose with 4 round headlights....

some of the Jdm integras w/ the round head lights were called the Sir-G ask password JDM

 

SIRG/SI VTEC/SIR all refer to the same thing..........until a couple months ago

i have allways know the SIR-G as the pic above and the SI VTEC as the quad round style...while not wrong...you may be right about the SIR-G also being made with the quad rounds...

they are all out. I called them a month ago to see if they had any because i was going to buy one. he said they very rarely get them in, and when he does they're expensive as hell.

password JDM sells them too i think...

being and SIR-G, or whatever you want to call it, that just tells your the engine and trim.

the YEAR will tell you the front bumper style if you have a JDM front end. They didn't use the popular conversion that we all like until 1996. 93.5-95 were the same round headlights that we have here in the states. So, if you have a USDN front bumper, you'll need a lip that fits the 94-97 front bumper. If you have a JDM front end, it's either the same round headlight style as the US, or the rectangle style as pictured.

 

Are there any other differences between the si vtecs and there usdm counter parts other then the obvious foglights and lip?

 

Im curious to no why Wings West or Comptech hasn't started making clones of this lip as well the oem 98+ optional side skirts and rear lip. They would really start making some cash then

 

Its pretty difficult to find 94-97 type r lips, i would assume finding si vtec lips as too much of a hasle for an abs lip

Actually, Si Vtecs are JDM round headlight Integras years 93 to 94.
SiR G came out from 95 onwards untill the DC5s came out, these were Vtec and had the flat lights "JDM front" like the Type R, but chrome housing lights.

I am not 100% sure but I think Honda japan still came out with round headlights in 1995, and this was known as SiR Integra. But I am sure about Si Vtec and SiR G, cause I drive an Si Vtec myself. Infact what 3_South is refering to which is actually an Si Vtec Lip was factory option, which is mising on my teg, and after almost 2 years of searching I have been able to find one

IntegNYC, your teg is Hotness bro! One of my favorites out of all the tegs I've seen, so clean I actually would prefer the 97 USDM ITR Lip, but I can't get that in NZ. Local market DC2 type Rs only came out for one year here, 2000 (roundheadlights), all others are JDM imported ITRs. Oh well, 'just loving the look of your ride... did you get a respray done?

and yes, somebody needs to start making these in polyureathane. the abs cracks to easily. thats one of the main reasons it is so hard to find one in good condition.

I found mine with cracks in the corner parts, epoxied them, then they cracked again.

 

I may be able to get one, but are you looking for the lip that matches the us style front end? or the JDM DB-8 front end? i could have reaad more to find out, but i am lazy...

actually, i think the you got them mixed 93-94 is si vtec and the 95-00 is sir-g, because when i got my clip it says sir-g dc2 on the blue "jdm" badge
