Okay, theres this strange buzzing/vibration coming from the front left corner of my dash or around that area. It starts when the engine revs at about 2500 and quits about 3000 rpm later, either parked or driving. Its nothing mechanical, (i hope), and its not too loud, just some strange and very annoying buzzing sound from somewhere in my car. I realize this is a shot in the dark, but if anyone has advice id be glad to hear it.

 

motor mounts?

 

Hm, i hope not. Ive got 140,000 kilometers on it, would that kind of thing need replacing by now? If it was the motor mounts, would you notice the whole car shake?

 

When belts start to crack & chip they can buzz. Usually can't inspect with your eyes, need to feel inside of belts with fingers to detect. The ribbed belts are most susceptible to chipping.
