Default How Low Are You?

I have a 00 Civic EX. I just got my Ground Controls 400F 500R Coil Overs and Koni Yellows on. I also have 16" Rota Circuit 8's w/ 205/45/16 tires. The other day when I first put on the suspension, I had the car right on the tires. I pulled out of my driveway and every bump, turn, would scrape my tires. I know there are a lot of SLAMMED EK's on here. You all don't go driving around all day scraping do you? I have raised it up all around about a finger and a half. I stil scrap on some bumps and turns. Should I really stiffin up the shox? I have tryed that but the back end becomes really happy. Could you guys post some pics of your rides, and spring setups, wheel and tire sizes? I will try and post a few pics of my car in a little while.

My friends 00' SI can't go over speedbumps with more than 1 person in the car without scraping his front or piping.

A poor kid's set up: Weapon-R Circuit Pro coilover w/out the helper springs on stock shocks. Not even that bouncy and haven't bottom'd out yet. (Knock on wood)

I'm riding on stock shocks with no springs and let me tell you that thing handles like a dream. Haha.. just kidding.

I have KYB AGX's with Ground Controls. 15" Slipstreams with 195/50 Bridgestone Potenza S-03s. Here's my drop.

My '97 EX is lowered 2.5" in front and 2.25" in the rear. My Koni Yellows are on the middle perches. I'm still relatively high compared to some cars out there. It's a good drop but still not totally slammed, which is fine by me. As you can see in the pics, I have about a finger gap but still good ground clearance. And I added in an old pic of when I was turboed ... just for ***** and giggles.

Yeah, that first pic is chopped, that's why I was just kidding about the stock shocks with no springs set-up. The second pic is how the car really sits.
