Ok heres my deal, Ive been wanting a turbo before i wanted a car. I wanted a car to put a turbo on. Now here i am 2 years and 35000miles later, I finally have all my ****, but yet still delayed .

Since decemeber, i was waiting on a local tuner, After 4 months of waiting, i couldnt take it. I had to find someone else. After a few posts, and talking to alot of people, a date was made to get it started. April 29th, well the day almost came, (two days ago), I get a call from my boss saying "there is no way you can get off, those extra days". Now i must wait until at least may 22nd for my install/tune. this sucks.



Setup includes:
Full Race Kit (t3/67)
1000cc Injectors
Aem EMS
Tilton clutch

Sorry just bitchin.... Its just i feel like its never fking gonna happen.

edit: only positive things i can think about, is by waiting my gf, and my good friend can tag along, and i might have a built bottom by then

good luck on the turbo install and don't rush it...with your expected set up, it seems like it'll be worth the wait.

ive been buildin my integra for almost 2 years now

 

being invloved in forced induction for so long has made me a more patient person i believe, if something doesn't go my way, i was already perpared for it hehe

aye aye aye Jordo , your in bad shape. You work on weekends? You can get it done in a day if you have the right tools and someone helping you that knows what they are doing . its no harder than doing I/H/E install with some extra toys added in. I did my 1st turbo set up in less than a day and i ran all around for misc **** that i forgot at my house and had to run home for the stuff.

ive been waiting for about a month to get my car tuned.. i just got a set date with nrg tech for tuesday afternoon so im happy about that.. just gotta hope nothing else goes wrong with my car till then

Owell I guess since your not coming this weekend, i cant invite you to our Kegger were having on Saturday at my house .

What I would do is ask for some time off, maybe a couple extra days than you had planned to make sure everything gets done 100% and on time. Built motor hmmm... if you could manage that in the next few weeks that would be awesome.

I am in the same boat as you are. I finally got enough money to get back into things, and I have been waitin on parts for awhile. Finally got my cams from Robert@Rocket Motorsports so I can finish my buildup. Patience bro, our time will come when boost will be our friend again haha.

 

man i feel your pain.. ive been peicing together my turbo kit for over 2 years and just when i think i can install it, i tried putting my custom lovefab mani on and it doesn't fit, so now im back in line with all the other people waiting for my mani from cody.

but i guess like everyone else says patience, think of how nice it will be when its all done

 

Why not start from the ground up.. You have the AEM EMS.. If your car is running now why not install it into there and learn the software so you can tune it yourself..

By the way, Good choise on the EMS

 

if you asked for the days off, could not get them and then called in sick... I would say your employer would be less than understanding when you return to work.

it will be worth the wait.... sucks though I know from experience.

hey how long did your mani take to come in when you first ordered it... cuz damn i need mine and my setup will be on and running within 24 hours!!!!!
