H&R Sport Springs
i had these springs (w/ tokico blues) for about 2-3 years. the ride quality is acceptable. but having auto x'ing with these springs with tokico blues....it was horrible. due to the spring rate and of course the tokico blues, but if your not into auto x or such events you dont need to worry about that. other than that, great springs
btw heres a pix of my car with my suspension setup, i took 2 years ago

like any sport springs, the ride is fairly soft. I have the H&R race setup. theyre very stiff and my car sits low as hell. good choice on H&R though. sorry i dont have a pic to show right now
mine;s dropped right now with the sports and stock shocks. The rides fine and I only bottom out if I go to fast over a big speedbump.
But mines a g2, the sport is 1.8" all around, not sure for you 3 guys.
Here's the teg with H&R Sports:

They are very easy to install, to take out the strut it's like 3 bolts in the front and 5 in the back per strut. But here's the catch....people snap bolts ALL THE TIME when working on their suspension, and if you do you could be in for one big *** headache(New LCA, Bushing etc etc).
So try install but be carefull not to throw to much torque at something and snap it, especially the gay little 14mm bolts on the rear. At least the front uses 17mm.

I have H&R Sports on Koni Yellows, and I think they suck ****.
They dropped my car 3", and combined w/ the softer Sport spring rate, it makes for a very bad ride over over rough roads. The car can get extremely unstable at times, especially over larger bumps and dips. I will be junking these springs in favor of custom-rate Ground Control coilovers for my Koni shocks.

I have the H&R Race on stock suspension well half of them (the front ones) and they ride nice and have a good drop the front was easy to install but im gunna have tio pay somne1 to put the back ones in becuase i ran into a problem, ull love H&R, i did
yah...i have on H&R springs with blues...their pretty decent as a daily driver...but i have to warn you about the sports...they do drop ur car more then you usually exspect it...but to meh it's actually a perfect drop...but as you go auto-x these springs do not match with blues...recommend some koni yellow to match these...sometimes when you hit a dip...you mite have rubbing problems and you mite get cut up tires just like i got....but truely if its for a daily driver its great springs...i can still go over some speed bump at 15mph goin straight and go over railroad tracks like nothing

dang I don't see how, my car cannot clear a coke can laid over on its side. Speed bumps must be taken at an absolute crawl and usually at an angle. IMHO they're not good no matter what shocks are used. They're just too soft to drop the car that much.

Hopefully you can see it. I use this pick as my sig on other forums. H&R sports w/ Koni Yellows.
I live in the ATL suburbs so the roads are paved and smooth, so I love the ride I get.

sounds like you got the race springs bro. I'm running the sports on stock shocks, the ride is absolutely fine, speed bums are really no problem, only the really big ones to i have to crawl.

nope, they're the dark metallic blue which are the Sport springs, and they are MUCH softer than race spring rates.

People get a misrepresentation of the drop when you show them the pics of your rear end on the lowest perch of the koni yellow shock, it lowers it quite a bit more.

Are those the ASA KA3 Rims? cause i have the same ones
How easy is it break those bolts...?? cause i know getting another LCA and **** would be pricey...
how much to get these professionally installed? i love to do stuff myself, but i dont feel like braking something right now..

I wouldn't say the bolts break easily, but at the same time nothing comes off easily on the suspension. You'll need at least a 16" breaker bar to loosen everything.
Basically if you're reefing on the breaker bar, and you're almost givin it everything you got STOP, spray some liquid wrench, hammer the ******, heat it with a torch, whatever it takes it'll be easier/quicker than bustin the bolt.
If you're curious just look through the archived threads on broken bolts, this is one of the most common problems. It's the rears that everyone seems to break. Honda used 17mm bolts in the front, but decided to use 14mm's in the back, and the 14's break all the time.
In my case I had 3 shocks off, and 2 bolts left on the very last shock. The 2nd to last bolt busted and I was fucked. LCA's are kinda steep, and then there's the labour, bushing etc...

I'm running Sports with KYB AGX (set to 3 in front and 4 in rear) on my 98 and I'm really happy with the ride. I would like the springs to be a little stiffer but the drop itself I liked. It dropped me about 2"

Yeah well I have measured and compared the FRONT tires on my car to a stock 94-95 GS-R, measuring from the center of the wheel to the fender edge (to negate any differences from tire height) and the difference was about 3". I also measured the overall height of my car (highest point in the middle of the roof) and compared it to the spec shown in the Helm's manual, and again about a 3" difference.
