Default Finally Off Jackstands! Turbo H22 Civic Hatch.

After countless months, my car is finally off the jackstands...
Now the pics...

Major props go to xenocron . He helped me with everything and I learned so much from him, just don't ask him to help you with installing injectors
There are problems as with any project...

1. Transmission problems... For some odd reason, tranny doesn't want to shift into any gear! Clutch was replaced a few months ago. It's not the clutch. Somehow it's jammed in neutral and it doesn't want shift. Any ideas on this?

2. Oil leakage from oil pan... I think my oil pan gasket is messed up. It slowly seeps out of the side. I must take a look at this further.

3. Tuning... It's running uberdata now. Trying both uberdata and chrome for now.

4. Downpipe must be welded...

5. Hooking up techedge wideband... I don't think this is very complicated but then again I've never done it.

6. Boost gauge... didn't have time to install this. Prolly next week.

That's all. In 2 months, I will be rebuilding the motor so I can run approx 15psi of boost. Luckily there's a machine shop down the block!!! Thanks honda-tech for all the support and info!

Congrats on getting it off the stands.... NOW PAINT THOSE WIND SHIELD WIPERS! fresh coat of black would look nice. Spray paint doesn wonders.

ABout the oil leaking from the oil pan.. Once i had this happen to me because the person tightning down the oil pan had the tourque wrench read wrong and put it down to tight and caused the gasket to bunch out a little bit and leak oil.... Also ruined the oil pan...... Either that or didnt clean the block good enough before putting on the new gasket and it slipped.

Yea, I'll paint the windshield wipers with flat black. Regarding the oil pan, tell me what the specs I should be tighten to. Cuz it's probable that I tightened it too much. Thanks.

LOL, I got some spoon replicas from jdmshit that I'll be using. I need a tach... what alternatives can i use? It's a CX using the CX cluster meaning no tach. Also painting the engine bay... I'm not good with paint and all that so is there a place i can take it to so they'll do it for me?

about your tranny, it could be the main selector mechanism inside the tranny. maybe bent one of the metal finger/tabs.

the steel braid oil feed line is going to take chunks of paint off your valve cover in no time.

Tranny - sounds like a broken shift fork to me.

Oil Pan Gasket - I over tightened mine and it's doing the same thing. Get a new gasket, and don't over tighten.

Your setup looks pretty good.

opinions are so wasted, why do you care??? what if someone looked at your car and said "ditch those shitty mirrors and get a real tach!" would they be right???

the car looks good man, and do what you want to your car screw everybody else.

will it go into gear when the car is not running???

Looks good, now go to the junk yard and buy a gauge cluster with a tach for $50. Had 2 friends that did this - works fine, plug and play for them - they didn't have h22 swaps though - I imagine it'd work fine though. Be careful yanking the bezel off- there's a screw behind the clock.

Yea, I need to check a haynes manual for that. I give the clutch a few pumps and it works for some odd reason. I will check the manual.

holy ****! That thing is SWEET! I LOVE seeing H22 hatches. I can't imagine how hard that car pulls with the turbo.

Great job! Install looks clean and the IC looks SUPER!

You check your shifter cables?
Does the shifter feel hard to move or very loose?
