HX On a Diet Stage 1
Well Me and HXvtec got bored so we decided to finish doing some weight reduction on his car. Last week we took out his back seats and all the panels, including the truck load of stuff he had in the trunk. Today we are attacking the Sound deading. So here are some pics of our progress so far. We will keep everyone updated.
Tools Needed. (Saftey goggles optional)

Half of the trunk. Thats alot for just the center!!

I just took out the back seats and all of the spare tire stuff and it was louder than ****. I drove it like that for close to a month and gave up on it. I will NEVER have a gutted car EVER agian.

i took out my spare rear seats etc.. but left the carpet in mine last summer and it was fine....i guess my axle-back ricer muffler just makes everything sound louder!

We did not take the carpet out. That was just the trunk and under the back seat. There is no carpet. But we have not weighted it all yet. We are still taking some of it all out. Here are some updated pics.

Yes dry ice does work !BUT! it dosn't work to well on cars that have a whole lot of seam sealer like a newer civic my Si was a PITA because it has seam sealer EVERYWHERE heat gun and putty knife is the only way to take that **** off

It was only 8lbs of sound deading that was in the trunk. But after taking out the rest and everything else like the seats and everything that was in the trunk We hope to hit at least 100lbs of weight loss.
