3 Cars, 1motor (what I've been up to)
CAR 1: Well it all started when i crashed my 94' GSR on the highway. Yes, we were being stupid and going way to fast. I got cut off, lost control, and hit the ditch going about 140mph. The car flipped and slid on the roof with the moonroof open and windows down. No one was hurt. This was last September. Mods included: Maxspeed race springs, KYB shocks, Apexi N1 Exsuast, DC Header, Nuespeed rotors, and Konig Theory Rims 17".



CAR 2: After that we put the motor into a 200 dollar 91 automatic ls integra with a blown motor. We had to do an auto to stick conversion and a OBD1 -> OBD0 conversion in the chassis and engine wiring. the car was suppose to be a winter beater but was the only option that i had, so what the hey. The body was completly covered with major and minor dents which were fixed by me. sold the car and took the motor out. It never got to see a paint job. Modds: Rotora slotted rotors, JDM one piece headlights, Apexi N1 exsaust, custom turbo kit (HKS manifold, 450cc DSM injectors, Greddy BOV, starion I/C, custom fabbed downpipe and other piping), VAFC II, autometer Boost and Pyrometer, Nuespeed Race Springs, Tociko Illumina Adjustible Shocks, MSD Ignition.
Needs paint. Then it'd be clean and JDMish

Messy swap...but got the job done

CAR 3: I sold the car cause I got an amazing deal on a BROKE *** EK civic. But I've always wanted an EK so i had to jump on it. It was in a front end collision that toasted the front bumper, fenders, hood, radiator support, radiator, headlights, and windshield. We swapped the motor over and added 255 Holley fuel pump, Ground control Coilovers (lowered 3 1/4 inches) and SI gauge cluster. The whole front end was converted to a 99-00 front end. Otherwise everything else was swapped over from the DA integra.
NO RADIATOR SUPPORT!!

Added the SI front lip and replaced all of the broken body panels

Added some more goodies for better boostin

We're still in safe tune mode and its set at 4psi. I ran it on the dyno to see the fuel ratio and got 202 max horses and 175 max torque. If you look at the three dyno runs you'll see a drastic change in torque. That's because i was playing with the Vtec settings moving it from 6800rpm to 5600rpm to 4500rpm.
Wonder what it'll run at 12psi??


So what do you guys think?? Opinions please. Keep in mind this all happened since Sept. of Last year. I've been thru alot and refuse to quit. I'll eventually get this car painted Madori Green and it'll be a PIMP *** car. Sleek, Slammed, and JDM as hell.
I plan on getting Gold Group Ns, Spoon Carbon Wing, Type-R front Grill, Type-R rear lip, Black Racing Seats and more. We'll see.
Its amazing...the amount of Knowledge that I've gained about cars, Turbos, Swaps and Patients has definatly shown thru in the last 1/2 a year. I can't get enough and still am learning. Thanks for responding.

also dont go for a jdm styled car, and then put rotas on it, just use all oem parts and leave it at that, i think your car will turn out great... it will be nice to have another ek around WI

Looks good Rob! I didnt realize your EK needed that much work, you cant tell from the outside that anything was ever wrong!

WOW, sweet car. I saw it at the meet. It was badass! 202 whp is sweet! Can't wait to see the finished product soon!
BTW What were the VTEC engagement points that produced the torque. Im kinda curious

Thanks for all of the comments guys. The reason I'm going "JDM" is cause I like the clean stockish look that it can offer with all of its parts. I've done the whole bodykit thing and did like the results but didn't like the hard work to get it to look like it did. (fiberglass sucks) I'm not full fledged JDM tho, I just want it simple and clean.
The torque kept going down as I highered VTEC. The first run the VTEC was set at 6800 which would've resulted in a higher torque reading but as you can see the A/F was running way WAY rich going off the charts. The second run the VTEC was set at 5800rpm resulting in the 172 ft lb torque but with a better A/F at 11:1 in the end. The last run with 200+ whp was with the VTEC at 4500 rpm. Lower the VTEC and you get more hp, higher the VTEC you get more torque and alittle less horsepower.
